Outdoors Oriented first opened it’s doors in August of 1994. We are located just outside of downtown St. Catharines, but serve the entire Niagara region and areas as far as Hamilton, Burlington, and Toronto. We offer a full selection of equipment and clothing for all outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, snowshoeing, climbing, adventure travel, and of course… outdoor relaxing. We deal with many of the best brands in the outdoor industry and offer products for everyone from the diehard backcountry enthusiast to the weekend warrior.

Outdoors Oriented has joined with several independent outdoor shops from across Canada to form a buying group called Source For Adventure. The increased buying power of the Source For Adventure group helps us meet our goals of providing you with quality merchandise and competitive pricing.

Our collective expertise and experience makes us Canada’s leading outdoor retailers and this is only augmented with the fact that Source For Adventure members can now draw on each other’s strengths. However, the independent nature of our stores is not compromised.

Our product selection changes with the seasons; in the summer our products are geared towards hiking, camping, backpacking, canoeing, kayaking and climbing. In the winter we offer a full selection of clothing and footwear for being comfortable while enjoying the colder months, as well as items for snowshoeing, winter camping, and adventure travel.
