We may not sell downhill or cross country skis but we do sell just about everything else you would need. We do sell and rent snowshoes as well as doing snowshoe demo days in the winter at Shorthills Provincial Park. These demo days give people a chance to try the new style of easier to use snowshoes that are now on the market. 

   We sell everything one would need for a winter camping excursion as well. This type of camping is gaining lots of popularity now as it has many advantages to camping in the warmer seasons. When out on a winter camping excursion you don't have nearly as many people around in such crowded parks like Algonquin. One of the other advantages is there are NO BUGS, so you won't find any black flies or mosquitoes buzzing around. There can't be anything much more peaceful or relaxing than sitting out after a long day of snowshoeing  breathing the crisp winter air as the moon reflects off of a snow covered lake.
